I am Javier, a humble physics master of science student in Universidad de Chile. Until 2023 I was member of the Holographycl Anillo group and currently I'm part of Cosmology and Theoretical Astrophysics FCFM group.
In this webpage you can find: personal notes, FI2001, FI2002 and FI3111 (FCFM) T.A. course material and research stuff.

Considering quantum loops corrections to Feynman diagrams usually implies the presence of divergences that need to be renormalized using counterterms. We are renormalizating our theory with an arbitrary potential and diagrams with one vertex and an arbitrary number of loops.

Considering multifield inflation models we can consider a spectator field that affects the evolution of the curvature perturbation. In this work we use the wavefunction of the Universe formalism in order to compute the PDF of this spectator field and, then, also the PDF of the primordial perturbation.

Using the Schwinger-Keldysh path integral formalism, we are calculating the n-point correlation function of the primordial curvature perturbation in order to calculate its probability density function. I presented my current results in Graviticulas School.

The curvature and isocurvature perturbations of a multifield model can be described using Bogoliubov coefficients. We are analytically calculating these four coefficients that are governed by a system of coupled ODEs. I presented my results in CosmoSur VI conference.

We study the thermodynamic phase diagram of three-dimensional sl(N;R) higher spin black holes. By analyzing the semi-classical partition function we uncover a rich structure that includes Hawking-Page transitions to the AdS3 vacuum, first order phase transitions among black hole states, and a second order critical point.

With 3D computer simulations we found a significant difference between SMBHBs with and without AGN feedback, contradicting a L. del Valle, M. Volonteri 2018 assertion.

We studied the dust dynamics in young protoplanetary disks, analytically and using computer models simulating the observations that would be obtained with ALMA.
"This school provides an introduction to the current state of research in cosmology and astroparticle physics. It is intended for beginning graduate students, as well as more senior non-expert researchers interested in the field."
"School aimed at outstanding undergraduates in their last year from all countries in Latin America. It is associated with a partnership between ICTP-SAIFR at IFT-UNESP and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics."
International conference where I presented the poster of my internship.
