I joined Universidad de Chile on April 1st (no kidding here). Together with Ernest Michael, we have formed the Radio Astronomical Instrumentation Group (RAIG) within the Electrical Engineering Department (DIE) and in close collaboration with the Astronomy Department (DAS).

We also collaborate with the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) through one of its teams, the Assembly, Verification and Integration group (AIV). Given my experience in the Netherlands Institute for Space Research (SRON), I collaborate in the testing of the heterodyne receivers that are arriving for further integration in the antennas.
