Research Positions Available

Would you like to carry out research in the Universidad de Chile, Santiago?

Ph.D., M.Sc. and PDF (Post Doctoral Fellow) positions are available in areas related to sensing, navigation, SLAM, tracking and their applications.

If you have a good degree in Engineering/Physics or any related subject, you can apply.

Specific Positions Available (updated June 2016):

1. Post-doctoral researcher in Space Situational Awareness (SSA). US Air Force (USAF) funding is available for 2016 and 2017 for research work in space debris tracking based on telescopic and radar data.

2. Post-doctoral researcher in road feature identification and Simultaneous Localization & Mapping (SLAM) for  automotive applications, based on radar. Funding  from automotive radar company Delphi is available starting late 2016.

Depending on project availability, various top-up grants may be available for student support.
